Community Guidelines
Keep the frequency clear. These guidelines help us maintain a space where seekers can share, discuss, and explore the unexplained together.
Core Values
Open Mind, Healthy Skepticism: We welcome all perspectives on the paranormal and unexplained. Whether you're a true believer or a curious skeptic, there's room at this table. Challenge ideas, not people.
Respect the Experience: When someone shares their story, treat it with respect. You don't have to believe every account, but dismissing or mocking personal experiences isn't welcome here.
Entertainment First: Remember, this is a fictional entertainment project. We're here to have fun exploring strange ideas, not to spread harmful misinformation or cause real-world harm.
The Rules
- 1.Be Respectful
No harassment, personal attacks, hate speech, or discrimination. Disagree with ideas, not people. Keep discussions civil even when they get heated.
- 2.No Doxxing or Personal Information
Never share someone else's personal information without consent. This includes real names, addresses, workplaces, or any identifying details.
- 3.Stay Legal
No illegal content, piracy, or discussions of illegal activities. We're called Pirate Frequency for the vibe, not the lifestyle.
- 4.No Spam or Self-Promotion
Don't flood the forum with promotional content. Sharing relevant content occasionally is fine; being a walking advertisement is not.
- 5.Keep It On Topic
Post in the appropriate category. Off-topic tangents happen, but try to keep threads focused. We have an Off-Topic section for a reason.
- 6.No Harmful Misinformation
Discussing conspiracy theories as entertainment is fine. Spreading dangerous health misinformation, inciting violence, or promoting real-world harm is not.
- 7.One Account Per Person
No sock puppets, alt accounts for ban evasion, or impersonation. Doppelgangers belong in the Paranormal category, not your account list.
Content Guidelines
Appropriate Topics: UFOs, paranormal experiences, cryptids, conspiracies, time anomalies, glitches in the matrix, unexplained phenomena, and related discussions. Episode discussion and community conversation is always welcome.
Not Appropriate: Explicit adult content, graphic violence, real personal vendettas, active harassment campaigns, or content that could cause real-world harm.
Spoiler Etiquette: When discussing episode reveals or major plot points, use spoiler warnings for recent content.
Enforcement
Moderators may remove content that violates these guidelines. Depending on severity, consequences may include:
- Content removal with a warning
- Temporary posting restrictions
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent ban for severe or repeated violations
We try to be fair and give people second chances when appropriate. But some lines, once crossed, can't be uncrossed.
These guidelines exist to keep the community welcoming for everyone. The truth may be out there, but so is basic human decency.
